Biochemistry major Ryan Hino '22 was named a 2021-2022 ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Science Scholar and received a Fletcher Jones Foundation scholarship to work with Associate Professor of Biology Cheryl Okumura on a project entitled βInvestigating the Transcriptomic Landscape of Nafcillin-Mediated Sensitization to Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus.β In this video, Ryan explains how his research looks at sustainable alternatives to combat the drug and antibiotic resistance problem.
