PAL: Personalized Advising List

The Personalized Advising List (PAL) is a new initiative designed to help students create connections with the people and programs that support their academic and personal success. PAL will serve as a customized directory for each student, providing a list of relevant academic, student success, and co-curricular offices based on individual needs, interests, and affiliations. Some connections are generated automatically, while others are available on an opt-in basis, giving students flexibility and choice in shaping their support network.

 

In Spring 2026, we are piloting PAL with the Pre-Health Advising Office. Students interested in creating a PAL connection with a Pre-Health Advisor can use the PAL Student Portal linked below.

 

PAL Roles

We are currently piloting the PAL platform with a small number of a roles. Additional roles will be available in the future. 

  • Academic Concern Advisor. Students who are placed on a Semester of Academic Concern will automatically be assigned an Academic Concern Advisor to provide support and guidance throughout the semester.
  • Pre-Health Advisor. Students interested in health-related professions can opt-in to having a PAL Pre-Health Advisor. The Pre-Health Advisor will be listed on the student's Grades & Academic Records profile and will have access to the student's advising information.
